Senior Director, Product Design (AI)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid schedule with 2–3 days per week in the NYC office

Salary: $250,000–$300,000 base salary per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Define hirify.global's design vision across mobile software, connected hardware, AI experiences, subscriptions, and emerging product categories.
• Partner with Product and Engineering from the earliest stages to explore opportunities, shape product strategy, and influence what gets built.
• Create a coherent ecosystem across apps, devices, subscriptions, and new products.
• Lead Product Design and User Research, incorporating qualitative insights, behavioral data, and parents' lived experiences into product decisions.
• Set standards for interaction design, visual design, product quality, and premium customer experiences.
• Build and lead a high-performing Product Design and User Research organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Product Design experience, including at least 3 years of design leadership experience.
• Track record of creating exceptional, human-centered products and experiences as a senior product design leader.
• Deep expertise in mobile product design and systems thinking across complex customer experiences.
• Ability to define design vision, influence product strategy, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other senior leaders.
• Experience building and developing high-performing design teams while maintaining a high bar for craft and execution.
• Ability to work in the NYC office 2–3 days per week.

• Experience with connected hardware, subscription businesses, AI-enabled products, emotionally rich products, or premium consumer brands.
• Genuine empathy for parents and the emotional experience of early childhood.
