What you will do
- Perform water chemistry testing, programming downloads, start-up, commissioning, and servicing of water treatment equipment.
- Serve as the direct customer contact and maintain water and equipment within industry standards.
- Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, and customers on water treatment programs, installations, repairs, materials, and schedules.
- Use software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair equipment and systems.
- Work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as business needs require.
- Maintain high safety standards and accurately track company assets, equipment condition, and usage.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and typically 5+ years of HVAC experience.
- Working knowledge of basic chemistry and ability to identify subtle color changes in water samples.
- Plumbing skills, including PVC and some copper and black iron installation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
- Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
- Ability to work on-site at customer locations in the Austin, Texas area, including overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays.
