Business Systems Analyst (AI)

What you will do

• Capture capability needs from customers, software engineers, architects, capability managers, and other stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into detailed specifications, business vision documents, user stories, personalization requirements, and basic user interface designs.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle on Agile Scrum teams, including business analysis, testing, user interface design, capability management, and related roles.
• Create testing plans and scenarios, document results, manage defects, and analyze customer impact.
• Lead or support requirements walkthroughs, sprint reviews, project status reporting, vendor enablement, and project documentation.
• Analyze claims operations and interconnected systems to identify process improvements, risks, and opportunities for AI and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in information systems or information technology.
• Experience with analytical problem-solving, communication, report writing, SQL, Agile methodology, and Agile project management.
• Ability to support requirements testing, scenario creation, documentation, defect management, and compliance approvals.
• Awareness of healthcare IT regulations and technology trends.
• Must work from the United States, with the listed home-work location in Pennsylvania.

Nice to have

• 1–3 years of Lean/Six Sigma experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in health insurance or healthcare.
• Exposure to claims processing platforms such as Facets, Amisys, or HealthRules.
• Agile certification such as CSM or CSPO.
• Familiarity with open systems technologies and certifications or methodologies including ITIL, TOGAF, Six Sigma, or PMP.
