Pharmacy Business Consultant (Healthcare)

Location: Remote or hybrid in Pennsylvania, United States. Employees living within 50 miles of an office must work onsite three days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

What you will do

• Lead and participate in strategic initiatives for Pharmacy Services.
• Conduct opportunity analyses and use findings to develop pharmacy strategy.
• Analyze initiative outcomes against predetermined goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to advance strategic projects.
• Provide project updates and recommendations to Pharmacy management.
• Mentor less experienced Pharmacy team members and complete implementation tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance, economics, healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent experience and education.
• 5–7 years of experience in managed care.
• 5–7 years of experience in the health insurance industry.
• 1–3 years of experience in pharmacy operations.
• Strong oral and written communication, self-starting, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
• Physical work site required; remote employees living within 50 miles of an office must work onsite three days per week.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in business administration, management, finance, economics, or healthcare.
• 7–10 years of experience in managed care or the health insurance industry.
• 3–5 years of experience in pharmacy operations.
