What you will do

• Design and write custom applications for database entry, management, and reporting.
• Support data management plans, guidelines, and quality control processes for research studies.
• Identify and implement solutions to data management issues arising during study execution.
• Assist staff with electronic and remote record-keeping systems and train them to improve data quality.
• Support medical students, interns, residents, and faculty with data queries and statistical analyses.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant data management regulations and technologies and prepare manuscripts or related materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–3 years of database application or database management experience.
• Experience in a large medical center or healthcare environment is preferred.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Work location: New York, NY.
