What you will do

• Troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment and automation systems and perform root cause analysis.
• Design, develop, and implement improvements to manufacturing processes, machinery, tooling, and production equipment.
• Support capital equipment projects: specification development, vendor management, installation, commissioning, and startup.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve equipment reliability, manufacturing performance, safety, productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain equipment standards, technical documentation, preventive maintenance strategies, and engineering procedures.
• Analyze equipment performance data to improve uptime, throughput, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE); support automation/control projects (PLCs, sensors, motion control, robotics, industrial networks).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of engineering experience supporting manufacturing operations, industrial automation, or production equipment.
• Strong understanding of electromechanical systems, industrial controls, motors, sensors, actuators, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Experience with PLC-based automation systems and manufacturing equipment troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of reliability engineering, preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience managing capital projects and working with equipment vendors and contractors.
