Program Manager, Finance Systems

Location: Tysons, Virginia, United States; employees work from the office 4 days a week

Base salary: $100,000–$120,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate finance systems initiatives across ERP, billing, procurement, and related operational platforms.
• Manage timelines, dependencies, risks, action items, deliverables, and communications across concurrent programs.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Billing, Operations, vendors, and implementation partners to drive execution.
• Run governance activities including status reporting, stakeholder updates, issue tracking, milestone reviews, and prioritization discussions.
• Support finance systems enhancements, transformation initiatives, organizational readiness, and change management.
• Improve documentation, operational processes, execution consistency, visibility, and cross-functional coordination.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in program management, project management, business operations, or related roles supporting enterprise systems or operational initiatives.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
• Experience with Finance, Accounting, ERP, billing, procurement, or operational systems initiatives.
• Strong organizational, communication, ownership, and follow-through skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, finance systems, enterprise operational platforms, program governance, and risk mitigation.
• Ability and willingness to learn and use AI tools to improve productivity.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting ERP implementations or finance systems transformation initiatives.
• Experience with homegrown and third-party enterprise systems, PMO or portfolio coordination activities.
• Exposure to SaaS, subscription, or hardware-related business models.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and Microsoft productivity tools.
• PMP, Agile, or related project/program management certification.
