Technical Program Manager (Finance Systems and AI)

Location: Hybrid, based in San Francisco or New York City; office attendance required on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

What you will do

• Lead technical programs that make new products, pricing, and packaging operational across order capture, billing, tax, revenue recognition, and reporting.
• Own multi-quarter roadmaps for ERP, billing, subscription management, CPQ, revenue subledger, procurement, and finance reporting systems.
• Coordinate delivery across Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Data, Security, Controllership, and Internal Audit.
• Map finance processes and data lineage, resolve reconciliation gaps, reduce manual journal entries, and establish reliable data contracts.
• Drive ITGC workstreams covering access, segregation of duties, change management, SDLC, CI/CD, job scheduling, and data interfaces.
• Build AI-assisted workflows with defined quality evaluation, human review gates for financial reporting, and operational documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, business systems, finance transformation, or a related field, including substantial experience with finance or revenue systems.
• Working fluency in quote-to-cash, record-to-report, billing, and revenue recognition processes.
• Hands-on ITGC and SOX experience across access, change management, IT operations, automated controls, system-generated reports, remediation, and audit cycles.
• Experience independently delivering system modernization, migrations, ERP implementations, billing platform implementations, or similar transformation programs.
• Experience with enterprise billing, ERP, and revenue systems such as NetSuite, Stripe, or comparable tools, plus an understanding of order, invoice, and revenue data flows.
• AI-native operating mindset required, including practical use of AI for requirements, status synthesis, intake triage, and evidence packages.

Nice to have

• Public-company, IPO-readiness, or first-year SOX experience, including establishing ITGCs from scratch.
• CISA, CIA, equivalent certification, or experience embedded on an IT audit team.
• Experience building internal tooling or agents on a workspace platform.
