Technical Program Manager (Finance Systems and AI)

Location: Hybrid, based in San Francisco or New York City; office attendance required on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays

Base salary for San Francisco: $133,000–$223,000 per year, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Lead finance systems programs for product, pricing, and packaging launches across order capture, billing, tax, revenue recognition, and reporting.
• Own multi-quarter roadmaps spanning ERP, subscription management, CPQ, revenue subledger, procurement, and reporting platforms.
• Coordinate delivery across Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Data, Security, Internal Audit, and Product.
• Map processes and data lineage, resolve reconciliation gaps, improve data contracts, and eliminate manual or conflicting sources of truth.
• Drive ITGC workstreams covering access, segregation of duties, change management, SDLC, CI/CD, job scheduling, and data interfaces.
• Build AI-assisted workflows with defined evaluation standards, human review gates, and operational documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, business systems, finance transformation, or a related field, including substantial finance or revenue systems experience.
• Working knowledge of quote-to-cash, record-to-report, billing, and revenue recognition.
• Hands-on ITGC and SOX experience across access, change management, IT operations, automated controls, ITACs, remediation, and audit cycles.
• Experience delivering enterprise billing, ERP, and revenue systems such as NetSuite, Stripe, or comparable platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to independently deliver complex transformation programs, migrations, ERP implementations, or billing platform implementations.
• AI-native operating mindset is required, including practical use of AI for requirements, status synthesis, intake triage, and evidence packages.

Nice to have

• Public-company, IPO readiness, or first-year SOX experience.
• CISA, CIA, equivalent certification, or experience embedded on an IT audit team.
• Experience building internal tooling or agents on a workspace platform.
