BCG X Global People & Development Manager – X Build, AMR

What you will do

• Manage career development processes, including CDC cycle planning, governance, facilitation, feedback, talent discussions, and follow-through.
• Provide HR advisory support across onboarding, probation and performance milestones, employee relations, leave management, exits, and compliance with local regulations and global standards.
• Build trusted relationships with business leaders, Career Development Advisors, employees, local HR, Legal, Recruitment, Staffing, and Finance.
• Lead, coach, and develop one direct report while allocating work and maintaining timely, high-quality delivery.
• Coordinate workforce reporting, analyze headcount, attrition, employee movement, leave, and organizational trends, and present recommendations to leaders.
• Drive continuous improvement, employee engagement, inclusion, culture-building, data quality, governance, and employee experience initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, People & Development, or Talent Management, preferably in a professional services or consulting environment.
• Experience partnering with business leaders on talent management and employee lifecycle topics.
• Good understanding of talent management, employee relations, and HR processes.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook, as well as digital collaboration platforms.
• Ability to build relationships, coach a team member, manage multiple priorities, exercise judgment and discretion on sensitive people matters, communicate across organizational levels, and maintain integrity and confidentiality.

Nice to have

• Experience managing or mentoring a team member.
• Experience with HR systems such as Workday.
