Corporate Business Intelligence Intern (AI)

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Hybrid work with two office days per week. Candidates must be studying at the bachelor's level or higher in the province of Québec and be legally entitled to work full-time in Canada for the 15-week internship.

What you will do

• Extract raw data from business systems and transform it into structured, reliable datasets.
• Contribute to integrating Workday data into Snowflake for use across hirify.global.
• Build and improve data transformation pipelines using Snowflake and dbt.
• Structure and model data through multiple stages for reporting, analytics, and AI applications.
• Collaborate with BI analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs and develop solutions.
• Share progress, challenges, and ideas with a mentor and the team during regular check-ins.

Requirements

• Currently studying Business, Commerce, Management, Software Engineering, or a related program at the bachelor's level or higher in Québec.
• Legally entitled to work full-time in Canada for the full 15-week internship.
• Available to work from the Montreal office two days per week under the hybrid work model.
• At least one previous internship and the ability to work on technical projects with growing independence.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and experience extracting, transforming, and structuring raw data for analysis.
• Understanding of data modeling and how data moves through different stages before reaching end users.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt.
• Curiosity about modern data architecture, semantic layers, and data structures supporting BI and AI use cases.
