Software Engineer II (Enterprise Systems)

Location: Greater Seattle Area, United States. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or lawfully admitted refugees or asylees.

Base pay for Washington applicants: $134,961.00–$188,945.40 per year.

What you will do

• Deliver features for warehouse and inventory systems used to track hundreds of thousands of aerospace parts and support thousands of daily users.
• Develop backend and frontend functionality using Java, JavaScript, and React.
• Integrate AWS services including DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, and SNS.
• Build and maintain GraphQL and REST APIs, message queues, and other modern software components.
• Participate in code reviews, collaborate with engineers, and communicate technical ideas through documentation, diagrams, and code.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in existing software and address technical challenges in manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience writing software and deploying it to production.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Java or C++.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, problem-solving, and efficient software development.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to deliver production-ready code.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build positive team relationships.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or defense.
• Experience with iOS, Android, or React Native development.
• Experience with React, HTML, CSS, CI/CD, and relational or non-relational databases.
