AWS Fullstack Java Developer (AI)

Location: Hybrid work at a client site in Birmingham, AL; Knoxville, TN; Columbia, SC; or Lafayette, LA, United States.

Salary: $97,300–$108,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop, modernize, and enhance enterprise applications in a financial services environment.
• Build and maintain Java and Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, and modern web applications.
• Support Drupal, Salesforce, content management, CRM, and enterprise platform integrations.
• Contribute to AWS cloud deployments, CI/CD automation, monitoring, and production support.
• Implement generative AI and conversational AI capabilities using AWS Bedrock and IBM Watson.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments, Drupal development, JavaScript or TypeScript, and Angular, React, or Vue.
• Salesforce development experience with LWC, Apex, SOQL, and Flows.
• Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and automated CI/CD.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration, authentication, secure development, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Agile/Scrum and regulated-industry experience are preferred.

Nice to have

• AWS Bedrock, IBM Watson, generative AI, or conversational AI experience.
• Experience with AEM or similar enterprise content management platforms.
• Financial services or other highly regulated enterprise experience.
