Software Engineer (React/Java)

Location: US-focused position; applicants must already hold a current TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph before applying.

Salary: $211,000–$231,000 per year, plus $53,000–$58,000 in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions.

What you will do

• Analyze user and system requirements and derive software design, performance, and interface requirements.
• Design, develop, debug, integrate, and maintain complex software systems, including real-time systems, analytics, large-scale data processing, and business information systems.
• Develop algorithms, database interfaces, data queries, and software solutions that meet strict performance, timing, resource, and functional constraints.
• Test software components, resolve defects, perform quality control, and maintain software and system documentation.
• Coordinate with system and hardware engineers on requirements, interfaces, limitations, capabilities, and operational performance.
• Lead multiple software development teams, delegate programming and testing responsibilities, select development processes, and monitor delivery quality.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required before applying.
• Clearance sponsorship or clearance processing is not available.
• Twenty years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; four additional years of relevant software engineering experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience with software design, development, testing, debugging, integration, algorithms, databases, and system performance analysis.
• Technical leadership experience across software development teams.

Nice to have

• UI/UX architecture and frontend development experience.
• ReactJS, NodeJS, Java, Spring Boot, and JavaScript.
• Docker or Podman, AWS cloud infrastructure, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Gradle.
• API development and integration experience.
