Software Developer (GEOINT)

Location: Carlsbad, California, United States; hybrid work is available, but work is primarily performed at the Carlsbad office.

Salary: $88,000–$132,000 per year.

What you will do

• Define software requirements with a team lead.
• Design, develop, test, and deliver system software for customers.
• Develop full-stack features for GEOINT, motion GEOINT, imagery intelligence, geospatial information, full motion video, moving target indication, wide area motion imagery, hyperspectral imagery, and LIDAR applications.
• Explore new technical areas and programming languages to deliver complete products.
• Support on-site customer meetings and deliveries.
• Work independently and collaboratively while communicating with technical and customer stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and hold a Secret Security Clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
• At least 2 years of software development experience, including object-oriented design, coding, and testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with web services and JavaScript, such as React.
• Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, and C/C++.
• Must meet government security investigation and classified-information access eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Postgres or MySQL experience.
• AWS or Azure experience.
• Familiarity with Agile or DevSecOps procedures.
• Security+ or CISSP certification.
• Experience in software testing, quality assurance, DevOps, configuration control, automation, containerization, orchestration, cloud services, or product ownership.
