Team Lead, Software Development

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of complex research prototypes with researchers and AI scientists.
• Own the Labs portal and support customer access to research prototypes.
• Develop and maintain GCP infrastructure for data and high-performance computing, using hirify.global Evo cloud capabilities where appropriate.
• Provide software architecture guidance, evaluate design alternatives, and ensure adherence to engineering standards and methodologies.
• Allocate work, coach colleagues, provide operational direction, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead medium-scale projects, manage risks and change controls, and transition successful prototypes toward commercial products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• 7+ years of relevant software development experience, including experience as a Senior Software Developer.
• At least 1 year of formal or informal team leadership experience.
• Deep senior-level full stack expertise combined with people and project leadership capabilities.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Ability to work autonomously, influence stakeholders, solve complex problems, and uphold security, privacy, and ethical practices.
