What you will do

• Drive significant end-to-end technology initiatives, focusing on horizontal layers of the system architecture.
• Design and implement AI-native applications, leveraging LLMs and prompt engineering to solve critical customer problems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Architecture, Product Management, and Operations to design, test, and release features.
• Develop robust, scalable, and secure technical designs ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to organizational standards, patterns, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience developing software for large-scale business environments.
• 7+ years of experience designing complex distributed systems or business applications.
• Full-stack development experience integrated with AI technologies and tools.
• Proficiency in frontend (React, Angular, SwiftUI, Kotlin) or backend (Java, Typescript, Spring, Node) technologies.
• Experience working in cloud computing environments such as AWS or GCP.
• Location: Must be based in Toronto, Canada, for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• 1+ years of experience specifically building AI-native applications.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience with SageMaker, Vert.x, LangChain, or DialogFlow.
