Sr Analyst, Technology Sourcing

Pay range: $73,748.00–$122,879.00 per year

What you will do

• Lead or support sourcing activities for software, SaaS, licensing, maintenance, renewals, and related technology services.
• Develop negotiation strategies using stakeholder requirements, supplier proposals, pricing benchmarks, total cost considerations, and commercial risk factors.
• Negotiate pricing, licensing models, renewal terms, service commitments, and other commercial provisions with Legal and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with Technology, Finance, Risk, Legal, business teams, and suppliers to align sourcing decisions with priorities, governance, timelines, and budgets.
• Manage supplier communications, competitive events, proposal analysis, contract workflows, sourcing records, and decision-support documentation.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, consolidate suppliers, simplify agreements, and strengthen commercial terms across the software portfolio.

Requirements

• Professional experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or contract management, including support for technology or software agreements.
• Experience analyzing supplier proposals and negotiating commercial terms for software, SaaS, licensing, maintenance, or related technology services.
• Working knowledge of the sourcing and contracting lifecycle, including requirements gathering, competitive evaluation, negotiation, approvals, and contract execution.
• Ability to communicate complex commercial information clearly and collaborate with Technology, Legal, Finance, Risk, business, and supplier stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple negotiations and deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience sourcing software or technology solutions in financial services or another regulated, complex enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with software licensing models, SaaS agreements, subscription renewals, cloud solutions, and supplier performance management.
• Experience with strategic sourcing tools, contract lifecycle management platforms, e-sourcing systems, or procurement analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
