Software Engineer Lead (Java/Oracle)

Location: In-office role based in Denver, CO; Birmingham, AL; Pittsburgh, PA; Phoenix, AZ; Dallas, TX; or Strongsville, OH

Base salary: $86,250–$158,125 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead the technical design and development of software solutions for complex business needs.
• Serve as the primary technical contact and subject matter expert for assigned applications.
• Support, maintain, and continuously improve Java enterprise applications using Oracle databases, SQL, and ETL processes.
• Monitor application health and operational performance with Dynatrace, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.
• Partner with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams to resolve production issues and validate integrations.
• Provide technical guidance, review coding and testing, and prepare technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience.
• Experience with Java, Oracle, SQL, ETL, software development, application design, testing, and technical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of system development life cycle, application architecture, packaged application integration, and technical design.
• Experience with code reviews, debugging, Agile methodology, DevOps, cloud computing, or requirements analysis is preferred.
