Mortgage Loan Closer I

Location: In office at 350 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles, California, US 90071

Salary: $22.27–$33.43 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Review executed mortgage loan packages for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with bank requirements.
• Confirm wait periods and pre-funding conditions before funding loans.
• Verify and enter loan, property, wire, insurance, fee, and other information in loan origination systems.
• Complete post-closing audits and issue post-consummation closing disclosures.
• Process at least eight files per day and respond to internal customers within two hours.
• Follow up on trailing documents and perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least one year of recent closing or funding experience.
• At least one year of basic computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with TRID and knowledge of federal and state regulatory policies and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, organization, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and loan origination systems.
