Practice Finance Closing Specialist (Business Banking)

Location: Columbus, OH; office-based workplace. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full time in the United States.

What you will do

• Coordinate the closing of business banking and small business loans.
• Generate term sheets and commitment letters, communicate with customers, and coordinate closing dates.
• Order third-party reports and title work, track expenses and fees, and collect items needed to clear closing conditions.
• Obtain collateral reports and documentation for UCC-secured, titled collateral, commercial real estate, construction, and public sector programs.
• Partner with sales, credit, loan servicing, legal counsel, and vendors to deliver timely closings.
• Manage an active pipeline, monthly maturities, collateral exceptions, and loan documentation requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 1 year of loan processing or closing experience, or real estate loan/title company experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, customer service, and sales-oriented interpersonal skills.
• Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and interact with internal and external customers.
• Current authorization to work full time in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Business banking or commercial closing documentation experience.
• Paralegal certificate and associate degree.
