Mortgage - Loan Officer

Location: Irvine, California, United States; regular in-person attendance at company communities, job sites, and offices is required.

Salary: $19.36–$19 per hour, plus potential bonuses and commissions.

What you will do

• Generate mortgage business through outside sales, lead development, and relationships with builders, realtors, brokers, and referral sources.
• Meet with prospective and current customers, collect financial information, explain mortgage products, and obtain loan applications and supporting documents.
• Originate and prepare loans according to company policies and applicable product guidelines.
• Review interest rates, lock loans with borrowers, and support applications through approval and closing.
• Conduct first-time homebuyer seminars and participate in builder, realtor, community, and special events.
• Maintain prospect, customer, loan status, underwriting, rate-lock, and closing information in the loan origination system.

Requirements

• At least three years of loan originating experience.
• NMLS license required, or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• Ability to travel regularly to communities, realtor offices, meetings, events, and closings.
• Ability to work in construction trailers and perform physical activities including climbing stairs and ladders, bending, reaching, and moving equipment weighing more than 50 pounds.
