Facilities Maintenance Technician, Kohler Hospitality

Location: hirify.global, Wisconsin, United States; onsite. Full-time third-shift role, with hours varying from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on weekdays and weekends. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Hourly salary: $18.30–$27.50.

What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance inspections and service for equipment, machinery, and building systems.
• Complete basic repairs through work orders and assist experienced technicians with complex inspections and repairs.
• Monitor external facility areas for safe and functional use by patrons.
• Maintain inspection reports, work schedules, backlog records, and completed work orders.
• Recommend spare parts and repair materials, and keep storage areas orderly and compliant with fire and safety codes.
• Communicate maintenance information electronically and verbally across shifts and departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Carpentry training or experience required.
• At least one year of experience in a skilled trade position.
• Technical skills in areas such as carpentry, mechanical systems, flooring, painting, electrical work, pools, HVAC, drywall, tiling, or plumbing.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Weekend availability and authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship required.
