Maintenance Technician (Facility Maintenance)

Location: Griffin, Georgia, United States. Onsite, 1st shift, typically Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekend and overtime work may be required. Relocation is not available, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $22.57–$29.39 per hour

What you will do

• Identify problems quickly and correctly across the facility and engine production line.
• Perform basic mechanical repairs, including HVAC, industrial mechanical systems, and plumbing.
• Use root-cause corrective actions and departmental standard work to resolve issues.
• Float across production, testing, and repair areas to support daily production requirements.
• Read blueprints and schematics and use hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and other power tools.
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, medium- to heavy-duty technical assembly environment.

Requirements

• One year of vocational education after high school or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Basic mechanical repair skills and intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to communicate at all organizational levels and work effectively in a team.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment involving bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, prolonged standing, repetitive hand movements, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced technical environment and accommodate weekends or overtime when needed.

Nice to have

• Technical degree, apprenticeship, equivalent certifications, or related work experience.
• Facility maintenance experience.
