Software Intern

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA — Golden Valley site

What you will do

• Participate in new product development and support existing product lines and production operations.
• Collaborate with firmware, electrical, systems engineering, operations, and software teams to communicate with embedded devices and support product development.
• Calibrate and certify new and existing products and help resolve software bugs for internal customers.
• Write unit and stress tests, validate software performance, and assist with testing software releases.
• Collect and process data for algorithm development and contribute to software process improvement.
• Recommend user interface improvements and provide additional software engineering support.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to work at the Minneapolis, Minnesota site.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with C#, C++/CLI, native C++, CUDA, Azure DevOps, or Visual Studio.
• Experience with MATLAB or Python programming.
• Experience designing user interfaces with WinForms and WPF.
