Community General Manager, Personal Banking - Charlottetown, PEI (Banking)

Location: On-site full-time in Charlottetown-Queen & Grafton, Charlottetown, PEI, Canada

What you will do

• Lead and coach client-facing Leaders, Advisors, and Representatives across the banking centre and community.
• Build client relationships, provide appropriate financial solutions, and deliver a high standard of service.
• Monitor business performance, identify gaps, and implement action plans to improve results.
• Manage operations, processes, controls, compliance, and risk.
• Develop community relationships, promote CIBC, and support employee recruitment and development.
• Champion complaint resolution and escalate issues when necessary.

Requirements

• Experience leading diverse, high-performing teams and developing employees through coaching.
• Strong client-service, relationship-building, communication, and performance-management skills.
• Current Mutual Funds License through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada, in good standing.
• Legally eligible to work at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
• Commitment to trust, teamwork, accountability, client focus, and continuous change.

• Branch Compliance Officer’s Course, Branch Managers Examination Course, Conducts & Practices Handbook, Wealth Management Essentials, or Certified Financial Planner certification.
