Investment Specialist

Location: Truro, Nova Scotia; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site at 813 Prince Street and the remaining days remote

What you will do

• Build lasting relationships with existing clients and provide personalized investment advice and planning support.
• Collaborate with Banking Centre employees to strengthen client relationships and help clients achieve their financial goals.
• Develop local-market sales plans and convert leads into deeper client relationships.
• Generate opportunities through networking, relationship building, and business development.
• Lead community marketing and outreach activities, establish local contacts, and partner with community organizations.

Requirements

• Current accreditation and good standing with a Mutual Funds License through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada.
• Ability to complete the Personal Financial Planner (PFP) or Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC) designation within the first year; CFP or IQPF also satisfies this requirement.
• Strong client service, communication, analytical thinking, financial advising, and investment planning skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively, build trust, take ownership, and deliver results.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
