Investment Advisor (Wealth Management)

Location: Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada. The role is based at 24 Harbourside Dr Unit 8, with work arrangement details discussed during the interview. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

What you will do

• Build and grow portfolios of high-net-worth clients through relationship management and trusted investment advice.
• Research investment products and provide recommendations based on clients’ financial situations, risk profiles, time horizons, and goals.
• Develop investment plans, written proposals, and tailored wealth management solutions.
• Build and maintain a client portfolio through telemarketing, networking, seminars, trade shows, and other prospecting methods.
• Collaborate with team members and the broader bank network to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Present investment concepts and participate in client and prospect seminars.

Requirements

• Postsecondary degree or diploma and/or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Current accreditation and good standing as a Registered Representative with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization Investment Dealer.
• Strong knowledge of investment products, financial advising, portfolio management, and wealth management.
• Excellent client service, relationship-building, presentation, writing, organization, and time management skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada at the specified location is required.
