Director of Operations Technology (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and develop the centralized Engineering, Automation and Controls organization across six manufacturing facilities.
• Set manufacturing technology strategy in partnership with executive leadership, Operations, plant leadership, and Corporate IT.
• Establish governance, operating rhythms, performance measures, and decision-making processes to improve execution and reliability.
• Ensure automation and manufacturing systems are reliable, stable, secure, and responsive.
• Guide capital planning, technology standards, vendor partnerships, sourcing strategies, and strategic investments.
• Promote safety, compliance, continuous improvement, and root-cause problem solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing technology, automation, engineering, operations, or a related technical function.
• Demonstrated experience leading leaders and developing high-performing technical teams.
• Strong analytical, business leadership, budgeting, planning, reporting, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Experience with ERP and Automation systems, technology standards such as ITIL and NIST, and manufacturing technology or controls teams.
• Ability to establish priorities, create accountability, translate business needs into technology solutions, and drive continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree in Engineering or Technology.
• 15+ years of related experience.
• Experience with ERP and manufacturing system rationalization, consolidation, implementation, acquisitions, integrations, and multi-site manufacturing technology.
• Experience establishing or significantly improving functional operating models.
