Director, Manufacturing Excellence (Power Electronics)

Location: Mesa, Arizona, USA; hybrid as required

What you will do

• Define the manufacturing excellence strategy and establish annual objectives and OKRs.
• Lead Manufacturing Excellence, Quality & Supplier Excellence, and Reliability & Product Integrity activities for utility-scale inverter products.
• Establish manufacturing readiness requirements, approve production readiness, and oversee process capability, automation, and optimization.
• Own supplier and contract manufacturer quality performance, executive supplier reviews, CAPA, and quality management systems.
• Develop product reliability strategies, review qualification programs, monitor field performance, and drive warranty reduction.
• Lead customer-facing manufacturing, quality, and reliability engagements, manage the departmental budget, and report executive KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 12+ years of experience in power electronics manufacturing.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and quality organizations.
• Leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Proficiency in APQP, FMEA, SPC, Lean, Six Sigma, and reliability engineering.
• Experience with customer-facing executive engagement, technical reviews, audits, and factory acceptance activities.
