Associate Director, Site Operations (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Ashland, Ohio, United States; onsite plant operations

Salary: $146,500–$201,400 per year

What you will do

• Manage daily operations at a 120+ person bakery site producing Pepperidge Farm and Archway cookies.
• Lead direct reports and coordinate activities across plant departments.
• Set operational goals aligned with the corporate strategy and lead long-term site planning.
• Drive continuous improvement in production, quality, cost, safety, waste reduction, and productivity.
• Monitor labor, yield, delivered cost, budget variance, controllable expenses, capital expenditures, and other performance indicators.
• Ensure manufacturing standards, quality, safety, environmental, governance, and regulatory requirements are met.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing and supply chain, preferably in food manufacturing.
• 5+ years of people management experience leading diverse teams in a high-performance organization.
• Ability to work onsite at the Ashland, Ohio plant.
• Strong interpersonal, strategic planning, decision-making, talent development, and execution skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business management, supply chain, or logistics.
• P&L experience and Six Sigma certification.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, equipment reliability, quality assurance, food safety, logistics, and warehouse management.
• Experience leading union or non-union environments and developing high-performing teams.
• Project management skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital productivity tools.
