TL;DR
Process Engineering Supervisor (PCB Manufacturing): Supporting and leading manufacturing processes for printed circuit board production with an accent on process integration, operating conditions, process control, and failure mode analysis. Focus on solving manufacturing problems, standardizing production procedures, analyzing statistical data, and managing the onsite Process Engineering team.

Location: North Jackson, Ohio, United States; onsite manufacturing role. Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.

What you will do

  • Provide sustaining engineering support and lead manufacturing processes for printed circuit board production.
  • Identify and resolve manufacturing problems using engineering methods, data collection, and statistical analysis.
  • Develop, document, maintain, and standardize production-floor processes and procedures.
  • Evaluate test data and establish process and material specification limits and variables.
  • Collaborate with customers, engineers, technicians, production, quality, and operations teams.
  • Manage the development and performance of the onsite Process Engineering team.

Requirements

  • Previous manufacturing experience is required.
  • Five to ten years of engineering experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process control, SPC, root cause analysis, design of experiments, and problem-solving methods.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, statistical analysis, CAD software, and GD&T practices.
  • Project management, cross-functional communication, and rapid decision-making skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency is required for ITAR compliance.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience managing Process Engineers.
  • Basic programming and Minitab experience.
  • Experience supporting Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Education in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
