Market Leader, Private Banking

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; regular on-site and remote work proportions will be discussed during the interview.

What you will do

• Lead Private Bankers and manage an assigned portfolio of up to 20 high-net-worth client connections.
• Review client portfolios and financial needs, conduct regular portfolio reviews, and identify opportunities to expand products and services.
• Provide investment, credit, banking, retirement, estate planning, and broader wealth advisory solutions.
• Manage portfolio quality and performance through ongoing risk assessments and financial analysis.
• Act as a local leader for employees and ambassador for the Private Wealth Management offering.
• Report to the Executive Director and Regional Head while supporting leadership of the local centre.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of demonstrated success in private banking, private client, advisory, brokerage, or related work with high-net-worth portfolios.
• At least 3 years of experience building and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth clients.
• Generalist knowledge of tax, investment management, financial planning, law, trusts, credit, commercial banking, and international private banking.
• Experience leading, developing, and coaching diverse, high-performing teams.
• Strong communication, interviewing, relationship management, collaboration, and financial analysis skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada at the specified location, with a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Nice to have

• Current accreditation or continuing education toward the Certified Financial Planner designation.
