Financial Advisor - MFDA/AMF

Location: On-site full-time in Delta, BC, with the job location listed as Tsawwassen; flexibility to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance is required.

What you will do

• Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management and financial services support.
• Provide tailored advice across day-to-day banking, investments, lending, estate planning, and broader financial planning.
• Develop local-market sales plans, convert leads into clients, and generate referrals through networking.
• Deliver needs-based credit and investment solutions that support client goals and strengthen loyalty.
• Increase brand awareness through local events, marketing, community involvement, and outreach activities.
• Work banking centre hours, which may include evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience providing financial advice, establishing client relationships, and achieving performance targets.
• Current accreditation and good standing in the Canadian Securities Course, Canadian Investments Funds Course, or Investment Funds in Canada Course, with eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• For Quebec-related responsibilities: current AMF licensing, CIFC or CSC completion, and Registered Retirement Consultant certification.
• Strong client engagement, relationship-building, networking, business development, financial advising, investment, and lending capabilities.
• Must be legally eligible to work at the specified Canadian location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• Ability to work on-site full-time and travel between nearby banking centres as needed.
