Mgr IT (Contract & Vendor Management)

Location: Hybrid position in Plano, Texas; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; or Memphis, Tennessee. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the selected campus and work onsite several times per week.

Salary: $9,719.16–$13,121.94 per month in Memphis; $10,231.53–$13,812.57 per month in Plano or Pittsburgh.

What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle of high-value Statements of Work, master service agreements, amendments, renewals, and related IT contracts.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Procurement, IT, and business owners to define commercial scopes, delivery timelines, service-level agreements, and approval processes.
• Manage executive vendor relationships, business reviews, supplier selection, escalations, disputes, scope changes, and performance issues.
• Forecast professional services demand, model run rates and total cost of ownership, manage budgets, and identify savings opportunities.
• Verify invoices and resource utilization against contractual milestones and apply credits or penalties when appropriate.
• Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and operational guidance to contract and relationship management professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, mathematics, a quantitative discipline, or a related field.
• At least five years of systems development experience, including programming in one or more programming languages.
• Professional experience in commercial contract management, strategic vendor management, financial, business, or project management.
• Demonstrated contract negotiation, financial analysis, forecasting, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
• Experience leading, developing, and motivating teams and influencing cross-functional and executive stakeholders.
• Knowledge of software and engineering principles and experience working within structured project management frameworks.
