Procurement & Commercial Manager (Capital Projects)

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada; must be based in the Las Vegas area and work on-site/in the office 2–3 days per week

What you will do

• Manage procurement administrative staff, workload allocation, quality control, escalations, and procurement performance reporting.
• Establish procurement workflows, standards, and best practices while aligning strategies with project priorities and budgets.
• Oversee SAP purchase requisition and purchase order creation, processing, approvals, status tracking, discrepancies, and change orders.
• Lead RFP/RFQ development and execution, including scopes of work, commercial terms, evaluation criteria, bidder communications, evaluations, and contract award.
• Oversee SAP Ariba vendor onboarding, pipeline tracking, issue resolution, and compliance with client requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, client procurement leaders, budget owners, subject matter experts, vendors, and internal department heads.

Requirements

• Based in the Las Vegas area and able to work on-site/in the office 2–3 days per week.
• 7+ years of experience in contract administration, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Experience in mining, resources, or large-scale capital project environments is preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, organizational, and escalation-management skills.
• Ability to operate across multiple workstreams and organizational levels in a fast-paced, field-based project environment.

Nice to have

• Leadership or mentoring experience within a procurement team.
• Advanced hands-on experience with SAP PR/PO administration and SAP Ariba vendor management.
• Experience leading RFP/RFQ solicitation processes from development through award.
• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract administration, and sourcing compliance standards.
