Industrial Security Operations Intern (Defense Technology)

Location: Fully on-site in Arlington, VA; Fall River, MA; San Diego, CA; or Mount Laurel, NJ

Salary: $28.00–$34.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support Facility Security Officer operations for classified and unclassified offices and laboratories.
• Coordinate visitor procedures, employee and visitor badging, vendor escorts, access control, and onboarding logistics.
• Assist with meeting scheduling, calendars, office operations, supplies, mail, and package receipt and dispatch.
• Maintain, track, and audit contract materials and information-system inventories using the inventory management system.
• Prepare security training and briefings, coordinate employee clearance processes, and support compliance assessments.
• Revise and validate security processes and procedures in accordance with government requirements under 32 CFR 117.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program in Business Management, Engineering, Criminal Justice, International Studies, or a related field.
• College juniors or rising seniors are preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, initiative, reliability, teamwork, and collaboration.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills are preferred.
