Claim Professional Development Program Internship (CPDP Intern)

Location: Diamond Bar, California, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. now and in the future. No H-1B, TN, or Forms I-983/STEM OPT sponsorship is available, and housing assistance is not provided.

Salary: $25.00–$26.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Complete structured onboarding for claims systems and protocols.
• Gain exposure to personal and business insurance claims ranging from basic to moderate complexity.
• Investigate claims, assess damage, determine applicable coverage, and prepare damage estimates.
• Develop strategies for negotiating and resolving claims accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate with customers and observe experienced claim professionals through desk assignments and ride-alongs.
• Complete core assignments and meaningful project work with support from a manager or mentor.

Requirements

• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States now and in the future.
• Obtained or pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Interest in insurance claims as a future career path.

Nice to have

• Studies in business administration, liberal arts with a business focus, business management, risk management and insurance, or a related business discipline.
