IT Asset Management Intern

Location: Onsite at the corporate headquarters in Plano, Texas for the entire ten-week summer internship

Salary: $23.00 per hour

What you will do

• Collect and organize software purchase records, contracts, renewals, invoices, and licensing documentation.
• Research and validate software entitlements, reconcile purchased licenses with deployed inventories, and maintain a centralized repository.
• Support software compliance reviews, true-up activities, vendor audit preparation, and identification of licensing gaps or over-deployment.
• Track end-of-support and end-of-life applications, vendor timelines, dashboards, and unsupported software reports.
• Validate and clean ServiceNow software inventory data, including duplicate, unauthorized, obsolete, and incorrectly categorized records.
• Support license harvesting, renewal preparation, spend analysis, KPI reporting, and leadership reporting.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Employment-based immigration sponsorship, including OPT or CPT, is not available.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited Juris Doctor program and completed the first or second year of law school.
• Strong academic performance; a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving ability, and the ability to research and document findings independently.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and willingness to learn enterprise IT processes.

• Interest in IT Asset Management, software asset management, data analytics and reporting, IT governance, operational excellence, or enterprise technology operations.
