Registered Nurse-Emergency Services In House Registry Nights

Location: 1475 E. Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, Illinois, United States; onsite, part-time, rotating shifts.

Salary: USD 48–55 per hour.

What you will do

• Assess acutely ill patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Coordinate care delivery and direct assistants involved in providing patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff.
• Document patient responses, care decisions, communications, and outcomes in the health record.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, unit projects, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; an ADN is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• For emergency room assignments: ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and TNCC must be obtained within one year of hire.
• For pediatric emergency room assignments: Pediatric Advanced Life Support and TNCC must be obtained within one year of hire.

Nice to have

• Experience in the relevant clinical area.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist, Emergency Communications Registered Nurse, Certified Pediatric Nurse, or Certified Emergency Nurse credentials.
• ACLS certification for non-invasive cardiology assignments.
