Registered Nurse Surgical Care Center Part-time Days

Location: 25 N. Winfield Rd., Winfield, Illinois, United States. Part-time day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. with rotating weekends.

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide nursing care to acutely ill post-surgical patients recovering from orthopedic and general surgeries.
• Assess patients, identify expected outcomes, and develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Coordinate care delivery and direct the work of assistants involved in patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff.
• Document patient responses, care decisions, communications, and progress in the health record.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, unit projects, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); an ADN is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• One year of experience in the relevant clinical specialty.
• Medical-surgical nursing experience.
