Registered Nurse-Emergency Services In House Registry

Location: 1475 E. Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, Illinois, United States; on-site patient care with rotating shifts.

Salary: USD 48–55 per hour.

What you will do

• Assess acutely ill patients, analyze clinical data, and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Implement, coordinate, and evaluate nursing interventions and patient outcomes.
• Direct and determine the appropriate utilization of assistants involved in direct patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff to coordinate services.
• Document assessments, care plans, communications, interventions, and patient responses in the health record.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, unit projects, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; an Associate Degree in Nursing is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• For emergency room roles: ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in the relevant clinical area.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist, Emergency Communications Registered Nurse, Certified Pediatric Nurse, or Certified Emergency Nurse credentials.
