Operations Support Intern (Industrial Security)

Location: Fully on-site in Arlington, VA; Fall River, MA; San Diego, CA; or Mt. Laurel, NJ, United States

Salary: $28–$34 per hour

What you will do

• Support daily facilities operations, office maintenance, supplies, equipment, workspace readiness, inspections, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate service requests with vendors, contractors, building management, and employees.
• Maintain facilities, inventory, work order, contract-material, information-system, and security documentation.
• Support classified and unclassified operations, mail and package handling, visitor procedures, meetings, office moves, events, and workspace setups.
• Prepare security training and briefings, coordinate new employee clearance processes, and assist the Facility Security Officer with compliance assessments.
• Revise and validate procedures and learn to operate the inventory management system.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program in Business Management, Engineering, Criminal Justice, International Studies, or a related field.
• College juniors or rising seniors are preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and strong attention to detail.
