Head of Parts, Demand and Inventory

What you will do

• Lead the Parts Demand & Inventory function across demand planning, inventory management, warehousing, kitting, traffic, logistics, network controlling, and material readiness.
• Translate business demand, load plans, and operational priorities into material plans supporting production, repair and overhaul, and customer deliveries.
• Drive inventory strategy, including stock visibility, replenishment needs, safety stock, reorder points, and shortage or excess inventory prevention.
• Partner with production planning, operations, supply chain, procurement, engineering, quality, and finance to identify risks and resolve material constraints.
• Maintain alignment between demand signals, purchase requisitions, procurement actions, inventory movements, and warehouse activities.
• Lead component repair strategy, develop team capability, and improve standard work, performance transparency, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in supply chain, materials management, inventory planning, demand planning, warehousing, logistics, production planning, or related operational leadership.
• Strong understanding of demand forecasting, inventory segmentation, replenishment parameters, material availability, and the effect of parts shortages on production and customer commitments.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across operations, planning, supply chain, procurement, warehousing, engineering, quality, and finance.
• Data-driven approach with experience using ERP systems, planning systems, inventory reports, and performance indicators.
• Demonstrated leadership in coaching teams, setting priorities, creating accountability, and driving collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations management, industrial engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
