IT Lead (Manufacturing)

Location: Kingston upon Hull, United Kingdom; onsite IT services for the Hull Blade Factory

What you will do

• Act as the primary IT contact for the Hull Blade Factory and partner with site leadership and business stakeholders.
• Lead onsite IT service delivery, incident management, problem management, service requests, escalations, and continuous improvement.
• Manage, coach, and develop local IT support resources and external service partners.
• Coordinate infrastructure, workplace, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and operational technology projects.
• Support production-critical systems, manufacturing technology, connectivity, and business continuity activities.
• Represent site requirements in regional and global IT forums and ensure compliance with cybersecurity, governance, and service management standards.

Requirements

• Significant IT service delivery, support, or engagement leadership experience in a large industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing IT support teams, vendors, or service partners.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
• Good understanding of IT Service Management and ITIL, including incident, problem, change, and escalation management.
• Knowledge of end-user computing, Microsoft 365, networking, endpoint management, identity and access management, and cybersecurity.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience supporting manufacturing systems, factory technology, or operational technology environments.
• Experience delivering infrastructure, workplace technology, cybersecurity, or digital transformation projects.
• Experience working with regional and global IT teams across organisational boundaries.
