Workplace Tech Engineer (Fintech)

Location: London, Paddington office; on-site five days per week

Salary: £53,073–£58,970 per year

What you will do

• Provide first-line and advanced IT support to approximately 200 employees and external contractors, including senior and executive stakeholders.
• Administer internal systems, manage support requests, and maintain hardware inventories.
• Support employee onboarding and ensure users have secure access to required technology, services, and workflows.
• Work with the facilities team to maintain office equipment, networking, and AV systems.
• Improve and document internal technology processes as the SecOps function scales.

Requirements

• Experience providing IT support in a fast-paced organisation, including support for senior or executive stakeholders.
• Strong experience administering Google Workspace, Atlassian products, identity and access management tools such as OneLogin, and macOS environments.
• Experience with Mobile Device Management, Endpoint Detection and Response solutions, office networks, AV systems, and networking fundamentals.
• Strong documentation, communication, ownership, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of information security best practices and the current threat landscape.
• Basic knowledge of code, APIs, and integrations between tools and systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with GChat or other enterprise communication platforms, Linux, or ChromeOS.
• Experience in SecOps, security, technology operations, fintech, financial services, or another regulated environment.
• Experience with IT asset management, onboarding and offboarding, or automation of repetitive support tasks.
