Operations Support Intern (Industrial Security)

Location: Fully onsite in Arlington, VA; Fall River, MA; San Diego, CA; or Mt. Laurel, NJ

Salary: $28–$34 per hour

What you will do

• Support day-to-day facilities operations, office maintenance, supplies, equipment, and workspace readiness.
• Assist with inspections and identify maintenance, safety, housekeeping, health, and emergency-preparedness issues.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, building management, and employees on service requests, repairs, and workspace projects.
• Maintain facilities records, inventory, work orders, documentation, and materials associated with contracts and information systems.
• Support classified and unclassified operations, visitor procedures, mail and package handling, security training, briefings, and compliance assessments.
• Coordinate employee clearance processes, meetings, office moves, events, and security-related procedures.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program in Business Management, Engineering, Criminal Justice, International Studies, or a related field.
• Current college juniors or rising seniors are preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, attention to detail, initiative, reliability, teamwork, and collaboration.
• Strong analytical abilities and a sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
