Business Analyst (SQL) (Environmental Services): Analyzing functional business needs and designing, documenting, and testing application enhancements with an accent on requirements elicitation, SQL-based data analysis, and collaboration between business and IT. Focus on evaluating project feasibility, defining functional and non-functional specifications, supporting quality assurance and user acceptance testing, and coordinating implementation plans.

What you will do
- Analyze business needs and facilitate system enhancement requests with product owners and stakeholders.
- Elicit, document, and validate functional requirements and partner with development teams on functional and non-functional specifications.
- Research proposed projects and assess their feasibility.
- Support quality assurance, data profiling, pre- and post-implementation reviews, and user acceptance testing.
- Coordinate release schedules, status reporting, knowledge transfer, and implementation plans.
- Build relationships with software vendors and implementation partners.
Requirements
- Must be located in the USA; the role is remote.
- 2–4 years of experience in a business or technical analysis role.
- Experience using SQL for data analysis.
- Business Analysis or Project Management Professional certification.
