Network & Systems Administration Senior Analyst (Cisco)

What you will do

• Monitor, troubleshoot, engineer, and resolve issues across large WAN/LAN environments, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and VoIP systems.
• Design and implement efficient, scalable network configurations and deploy approved network changes.
• Analyze network performance and utilization metrics and prepare reports.
• Maintain network hardware, including devices, modules, and cabling, while supporting backup and recovery readiness.
• Deliver new network capabilities and provide technical guidance to IT team members.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or network architecture; 7+ years preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may substitute.
• Advanced knowledge of data communications, network architectures, TCP/IP, routing, switching, WAN, and Ethernet technologies.
• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, Catalyst, and Nexus platforms.
• Knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, IGRP, EIGRP, and RIP, plus VLANs, Spanning Tree, MCT, and MLAG.
• Experience with network security, service providers, data center environments, regulated environments including PCI, HIPAA, and SOX, project management, and technical documentation.

Nice to have

• CCNP-level networking knowledge; active certification is not required.
• Experience with SonicWall firewalls, Radware load balancers, Microsoft Skype, and Microsoft 365.
