Field IT Engineer (Cisco)

Location: Remote in the USA, with up to 75% travel within the assigned Colorado and Utah territory. Travel is expected approximately three days per week, with remote work from home on non-travel days.

Salary: $68,200–$93,700 per year, depending on experience and hiring locality.

What you will do

• Provide level-two support for WANs, LANs, field servers, and field applications, including on-call and on-site remediation.
• Maintain IT infrastructure and coordinate the installation, replacement, and disposal of field computer hardware.
• Troubleshoot and administer Cisco VoIP phone system installations, including user additions, changes, and moves.
• Act as a liaison between field staff, management, vendors, and Corporate IT.
• Build vendor relationships for cabling, hardware, software, and other IT services and supplies.
• Identify proactive solutions that reduce costs and improve operational efficiency, and report activities to management.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience supporting a decentralized IT environment, including end-user systems, local infrastructure, and overall IT services.
• Four years of computer networking experience.
• Experience with Cisco VoIP/UCCE.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
• Ability to travel up to 75% within Colorado and Utah, approximately three days per week.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA; employment sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
