Sr HRIS Analyst (Workday)

Location: United States (Remote); work remotely from home.

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 per year

What you will do

• Configure, maintain, and enhance Workday across Benefits, Compensation, Reporting, VNDLY, HCM, and related functional areas.
• Configure business processes, condition rules, validations, notifications, eligibility rules, organizations, and security.
• Support Workday integrations using EIBs, Core Connectors, Web Services/APIs, Workday Studio, or similar technologies.
• Gather requirements, design solutions, assess cross-functional and downstream impacts, and deliver enhancements through a three-week sprint cycle.
• Troubleshoot configuration, business process, integration, security, and data issues while performing root-cause analysis.
• Develop test scenarios and scripts, support releases and deployments, maintain documentation, and advise stakeholders on Workday solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience in an HRIS, Workday Analyst, Workday Consultant, or similar role.
• Experience configuring and supporting Workday Benefits, Compensation, VNDLY, HCM, business processes, and core HR functionality.
• Experience with Workday integrations, reporting, advanced or matrix reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and Discovery Boards.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, analyze business requirements, evaluate alternatives, and recommend scalable solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, HRIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Canada, the UK, Poland, New Zealand, or Australia.
• Workday security configuration experience and understanding of its impact on processes, integrations, and access.
• Experience with dashboard and KPI reporting, structured sprint delivery, employee supervision, or advanced Microsoft Excel use.
